Corrine
Wooler, originally from Great Britain, received her first lessons in
art and her love of watercolors from her father, a local artist
in Hertfordshire, England. Corrine Wooler attended college in
London, where her
studies included Art & Design. She became more serious about
her art
as an adult, and found her true passion in life. She primarily
works in transparent watercolors, and her style ranges from realism to
abstraction.
Corrine
has been a resident of Houston since the late 1980s. She loves to
travel, and capture the spirit of the places she travels to, the quiet
pleasures of the eye, whether a flower or a peaceful place to sit in
the sun, a moment in time never to be visited again.
Corrine
is a member of the Watercolor Society of Houston (WAS-H) and her works
have been displayed in their gallery. She was a prize
winner with her work "Big Bend Jazz" at the Northwest Art League.
