Scott
Christopher has recently moved to Galveston bringing with him a
combination of acoustic
blues, vocals and a bag full of harps for a sound reminiscent of
simpler times.
His unique show adds the complexity of a one man band (guitar, vocals,
and
harmonica) with a mixture of old time blues, upbeat rockers, originals,
and a
little bit of Buffet from the past and present.
Born in
rural Arkansas, he has performed at festivals, clubs, and events
throughout the
south, from San Diego’s Balboa Bowl
to Captain Tony’s in Key
West. He has also
made it to the top 5 at the Beale Street Blues Contest in Memphis, an
event
that attracts up to 3000 contestants each year. He is currently the
host
entertainer at The Balinese Room’s Acoustic Open Mic each Sunday from 1
to 5pm.
He is available for all events in the Galveston area, large and small.
